Pest Control
Pest Control focuses on supporting you with a a pest-free environment. Your facility is monitored regularly, with all inclusive services to implement and maintain the standards we commit to. Our team of experts are all qualified and registered at the Department of Agriculture and conform to SA Government Legislation as outlined in the SABS Code of Practice.
Our method of service is in respect of prevention and elimination. We are environmentally conscious and perform our services in the most humane, effective, and professional manner possible. Pesticides are DOA-approved formulations, biodegradable, suitable for use in the food industry and applied to ensure the risk of carry-over is as minimal as possible if not existent.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for the implementation of an Integrated Pest Management Programme consisting of the following:

| Maintenance | Carry out frequent routine visits to ensure the prevention of possible pest infestation. |
| Monitoring | Placement of monitoring devices and visual inspection of areas and implement action plan. |
| Record Keeping | Recording of all pest and service-related activities and update all reports and log sheets. |
| Management File | Place on site a comprehensive Pest Management File containing service and company details. |
| Management Audits | Complete quarterly management audit report and discuss with client. |

OCCASIONAL PEST SERVICES
All wood destroying insects and or Subterranean Termites, Borer Beetles, Bee’s, Bats, Garden Pests, Pigeons, Birds and Mosquitoes including any form of fumigation to eliminate existing stored products pest, do not generally form part of the pest control service provider’s monthly responsibilities.
These pests would be treated on a once –off request basis at an additional charge per service and or hourly rate as indicated within your contract documentation. However, an all-inclusive rate is also available.
The method will be with gel guns, pressure sprayers and monitoring tools. All personnel will be fitted and supplied with the correct PPE – Safety shoes, Safety Goggles, gloves and respirators.
The pesticides are all SABS approved – the most common pesticides to be used will be:
- Crawling insects – Rossi Super, Alphirin, Rossi Gel, Advion Gel
- Stored and flying insects – Nupro Fogging
- Rats and Mice – Finale, Racumin or Tomcat bait blocks
