Scope & General Purpose of the Job:
To provide an efficient, hygienic and prompt cleaning service

Education / Qualification and Experience Requirements:

Grade 12 | 2 years’ experience in a similar role |
Key Performance Areas:
- Cleaning of food production areas, equipment and utensils
- Cleaning and maintaining of general areas
- Cleaning, maintaining and storing of cleaning materials and equipment
- Disposing of refuse
- Maintaining a secure and safe working environment
- Maintaining specified productivity levels
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic Literacy, able to read, write and communicate adequately in the language of the workplace
- Basic Numeracy, able to understand and work with numbers adequately
- Visual Perception, able to perceive correctly and in visual detail so as to discern cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assembling Skills, ability to dismantle and reassemble kitchen equipment
Additional Skills Requirements:
- Must have worked in a food orientated kitchen
- Must be able to speak English
- Must have cleaned in a food orientated kitchen
Disqualifiers:
- No sufficient experience
